Salem, IN (March 15, 2021) – Champion Racing Association Powered by JEGS officials have released the entry form for the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance 100 lap 2021 season points opener, which will be part of the Midwest 250 Presented by Scott County Tourism & Lucas Oil promoted by Track Enterprises on the famous High Banks of Salem Speedway, located in Salem, Indiana on Sunday, April 25th. The ARCA/CRA Super Series will also be part of the event with a 100-lap feature. The Van Hoy Oil CRA Street Stocks will also have a 50-lap special non-points event as part of the race program on that Sunday afternoon with the Salem Speedway GAS Series Street Stocks.
2021 will be the 11th season of competition for the Crate Late Model Series, who’s last ten point champions include Erik Jones in 2011, Daniel Hemric in 2012, Cody Coughlin in 2013, 2016 and 2020, Dan Leeck in 2014 and 2019, Car Owner Champion Bill Burba and Driver Champion Dalton Armstrong in 2015 and Jack Dossey III in 2017 and 2018.
The JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour has competed at Salem Speedway five times since 2013. The series last raced at Salem in June of 2018 when Borden, Indiana’s Cole Williams got the win. Jack Smith went to victory lane in 2017. Cody Coughlin has two series wins at Salem in 2016 and 2013. Grant Quinlan got the win in the 2014 series event at Salem.
There will be an open practice on Saturday, April 24th for all three CRA divisions competing in the Midwest 250. Pits open at 11am with rotating practice for all divisions going from 2pm until 6:30pm.
On Sunday April 25th, pits will open at 8am. Practice for all three divisions is set to begin at 10:30am. Qualifying for the for all three divisions will begin at 12:30pm. Racing action will begin at 2pm with the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour 100 lap feature, followed by the Van Hoy Oil CRA Street Stocks/GAS Series Street Stocks 50 lap feature with the 100 lap ARCA/CRA Super Series feature capping off the day’s events.
Tickets for the Midwest 250 Presented by Scott County Tourism & Lucas Oil will be available online starting Tuesday, March 16th at 12 Noon Eastern Time. Ticket buying link will be listed on www.trackenterprises.com and www.salemspeedway.com in addition to social media posts. Tickets will also be available at the gate on race day.
