Nashville, TN (Wednesday, April 19, 2023) – In addition to the prize money earned for competing with Champion Racing Association (CRA) in both the Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman Powered by JEGS and the CRA Street Stocks Powered by JEGS, drivers who signed up to be CRA Members earned additional awards after the checkered flag fell over Anderson Speedway on Saturday. The Spring Fling 75 Presented by CB Fabricating offered members an opportunity to earn more with the CRA Contingency Awards.
The Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman drivers were the first to collect awards on Saturday. The first came with the Allstar Performance Fast Qualifier Award which went to Stoh, Indiana’s Cassten Everidge. With a time of 12.699 seconds, Everidge earned the $50 Product Certificate that comes with winning the award. Not only is Allstar Performance awarding Fast Qualifiers at each event, but the driver who captures the most Fast Qualifier Awards throughout the season will get an additional award from Allstar Performance.
Everidge’s second place performance earned him an additional award on Saturday as well. Schoenfeld Headers will award Everidge a $75 product certificate for his performance. They’ll also award a product certificate for Mike Sargent for his 8th place finish.
Sargent’s 8th place performance also earned him a $50 product certificate from Holley Performance and an additional product certificate from COMP Cams.
Jeff Marcum earned a number of awards for his fourth place finish, including a product certificate from Bassett Wheels, a $50 Product Certificate from COMP Cams, and a $50 Product Certificate from Holley Performance.
Additional award winners included Charlie Keeven who picked up a $75 Product Certificate from Quarter Master; Logan Huckaba, who was awarded by Aero Race Wheels and Quarter Master for his sixth place finish; and Greg Stilwell, Jr picked up a Quarter Master Award for his ninth place run.
The next event for the Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman will be Saturday, June 17th at Anderson Speedway.
