Nashville, TN – Officials with Champion Racing Association and Shadybowl Speedway have announced a schedule change for the season opening event for the Vore’s Weldin
CRA Late Model Sportsman. The Cabin Fever, originally scheduled for Saturday, April 13th, has been rescheduled to Sunday, April 14th. The change comes amid consideration for other events taking place in the region.
The Cabin Fever 75 puts the Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman head-to-head with the Shadybowl Speedway Sportsman in a special format and rules package. Last season, despite Mother Nature’s best efforts to postpone the event, a stout field of Sportsman unloaded at the unique Shadybowl Speedway. The race saw plenty of excitement with 10 lead changes and seven caution flags, including a multi car pile-up in turn one that drew a red flag for cleanup. When the dust settled, Shadybowl Speedway regular, Josh Sage collected his first career Vore’s CRA Late Model Sportsman win.
The Cabin Fever 75 at Shadybowl Speedway kicks off an exciting 2024 schedule for the Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman. Leaving Shadybowl, the series heads to Anderson Speedway before a pair of first time trips to Owosso Speedway and Corrigan Oil Speedway in Michigan. Two returns to Anderson before unloading at Salem Speedway, a Sportsman Special at Winchester Speedway on Labor Day Weekend, one more trip to Anderson, and the season finale at Winchester Speedway.
Additional information for the Cabin Fever 75 at Shadybowl Speedway on Sunday, April 14th like gate times, ticket prices, and more are expected to be released in the coming days.
