Salem, Indiana (Monday, November 23, 2015): Champion Racing Association Powered by JEGS officials announced today that Cometic Gasket would continue its support of the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS for the 2016 race season, the 20th season of competition for the ARCA/CRA Super Series. Cometic Gasket will once again be the Official Gasket of the ARCA/CRA Super Series and will be involved in several programs supporting the series racers through out the season. Cometic Gasket has been a valued supporter of the ARCA/CRA Super Series for several seasons.

Cometic Gasket will be involved as a Product Contingency sponsor at each series event during the 2016 season. Cometic Gasket will award a $50 Product Certificate to the 8th place finisher at every series event. In addition, Cometic Gasket will award the second highest finishing Rookie of the Year contender at each event with a $25 Product Certificate. At the 2016 Champion Racing Association Awards Banquet, Cometic Gasket will award a $200 Product Certificate to the 8th place finisher in final series points, a $200 Product Certificate to the 2016 Senneker Performance Rookie of the Year, and a $200 Product Certificate that will be given away by random draw of the top 10 in final 2016 ARCA/CRA Super Series points.
Cometic Gasket will also support the series with year-end cash award bonuses again in 2016. Cometic Gasket will award a $600 Season Hardcharger Award bonus to the driver in the top 15 in series points who advances the most positions during the 2016 season. Cometic Gasket will award the runner-up in 2016 ARCA/CRA Super Series Rookie of the Year points with a $300 cash bonus. Cometic Gasket will also award a $300 Cometic Gasket Hard Luck Award bonus to the driver in the top 10 in final series points with the most DNF’s during the 2016 season.
At the upcoming 2015 CRA Awards Banquet on January 8th, series veteran racer Eddie Van Meter will be awarded the Cometic Gasket 2015 Season Hardcharger Award bonus for advancing the most positions during the 2015 season. Hunter Baize will receive the Cometic Gasket Rookie Runner-Up Bonus for finishing second in 2015 Rookie of the Year Points to Grant Quinlan. Wes Griffith Jr. will be awarded the Cometic Gasket Hard Luck Award bonus for the most DNF’s during the 2015 season.
