Event Still Full Steam ahead for CARS Tour Super Late Models
Salem, IN (April 15, 2021) – Champion Racing Association Powered by JEGS officials announced today that the loss of sponsorship for the July 3rd American Freedom 200 at Jennerstown Speedway have forced the removal of those events from the 2021 ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered and JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour schedules. The reduced revenues made it impossible for CRA to meet its obligations to its staff and racers. The CARS Tour Super Late Models American Freedom 200 will still go on as scheduled, with plenty of resources in place to support the single sanctioning body event.
CRA’s R. J. Scott noted, “We appreciated being part of this event last year. It is unfortunate that not enough sponsorship existed to make our continued involvement possible. We wish our friends at the CARS Tour the best of luck. We know it will be a great show!”
