Salem, IN (March 18, 2016) – Champion Racing Association Powered by JEGS officials have released the entry form for the CRA Street Stocks Powered by JEGS 2016 Triple Crown Series. The CRA Street Stock Triple Crown Series will feature three 200 lap, $3000 to win events starting with the 200 lap event at Shadybowl Speedway on Saturday, April 23rd. The other two events in the Triple Crown will be at Kentucky Motor Speedway on Sunday, May 29th and at Anderson Speedway on Saturday, June 25th.
In addition to the $3000 to win for each event, there will be a Points Champion from the three events who will receive a $1000 bonus. Second in points will receive a $500 bonus, then there will be another $500 bonus from a random draw from the cars that attended all three events. Each of the Triple Crown Series events will be 4 tire races with a break at lap 100 to add fuel and make adjustments.
Teams can enter all three Triple Crown Series events with the entry form, or just enter one at a time. The CRA licensed members entry fee will be $50 per event, it will be $65 for non-members. Teams entering late will have to pay an additional $25 for a late fee. Jason Atkinson has been the overall CRA Street Stock Champion and Triple Crown Series Champion the last two years.
