Campbell Leads VanDoorn Racing Development Season Lap Leader Standings

Salem, Indiana (Thursday, June 4, 2015): ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS veteran racer Brian Campbell is currently leading the VanDoorn Racing Development Season Lap Leader standings after four ARCA/CRA Super Series events so far this season. Campbell has led a total of 150 laps so far this season in the three series events he has competed in. He led the last 75 laps of the season opening 7-UP 100 at Toledo Speedway on April 11th and led three different times for 75 laps in claiming the victory at Berlin Raceway on May 16th. Campbell is now fifth on the series all-time victory list with 16.

 

Greg Van Alst is second in VanDoorn Racing Development Season Lap Leader standings with 69 laps led. Van Alst led all those laps in his only series start of the season at the April 26th Anderson Speedway event. Van Alst was driving for Scott Neal Racing in a ride he earned by winning the 2014 Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman Championship.

 

Veteran series competitor Eddie Van Meter is in third place with 54 laps led. Van Meter led the last 54 laps of the Anderson Speedway event to get his first series victory in nine years. Rookie competitor Hunter baize is in fourth place with 50 laps led, all those came in his victory in the Chicagoland Showdown event at Illiana Motor Speedway on May 25th. 2013 JEGS/CRA All-Star Tour Champion Cody Coughlin is in fifth place with 26 laps lead, he led the first lap of the Anderson Speedway event and the first 25 laps of the Berlin Raceway event.

 

VanDoorn Racing Development will award a $500 Product Certificate to driver leading the most laps during the 2015 season at the 2015 Champion Racing Association Awards Banquet. VanDoorn Racing Development also awards a $75 Product Certificate at each series event for the VanDoorn Racing Development Lap Leader Awarded, Campbell received that award for the Toledo and Berlin events while Van Alst received it for Anderson and Baize for Illiana.
