Speed51.com Story – One of the most popular grassroots racing events in North America will be making its way into living rooms worldwide on April 3. Speed51.com and Champion Racing Association (CRA) officials announced Friday that the 7th annual Cabin Fever Championships at Lucas Oil Raceway (IN) will be available via a live pay-per-view stream on Speed51.com.
Cabin Fever is a yearly event hosted by CRA that features CRA Street Stocks, CRA Sportsman, Vore’s Compacts and Top Speed Modifieds. The event gives short track racing fans a little bit of everything with grassroots short track racers battling on the racy .686-mile oval in Indianapolis.
“We’re excited to see that all the racers that are part of Cabin Fever are going to get national exposure from a national pay-per-view audience,” said R.J. Scott, Managing Partner of CRA. “Not only are there racers coming from all over the Midwest, but other parts of the country as well, and it will be great for family and friends to be able to follow them if they can’t make it to Indy for Cabin Fever at Lucas Oil Raceway.”
The live broadcast of the Cabin Fever Championships on Speed51 TV, the live online video streaming network on Speed51.com, will be the first of its kind in the seven-year history of the event.

Live video coverage on Speed51.com will begin at 2 p.m. ET on Sunday, April 3. The broadcast will kick off with any necessary last chance races and the B-Main for the Vore’s Compact division. That will lead into a 40-lap CRA Street Stock race, 30 laps for the Vore’s Compacts, 40 laps for the CRA Sportsman and a 40-lap Top Speed Modified feature.
Speed51 TV’s live broadcast of the Cabin Fever Championships will be a one-camera broadcast featuring audio from the track’s public address system.
