Salem, IN (July 27, 2017) – The ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS will return to action Sunday in the Rapid Fire Pizza 125 Presented by Hot Head Burritos at Kil-Kare Raceway in Xenia, Ohio, just outside of Dayton. The tricky oval track at Kil-Kare Raceway was reopened this season by Gem City Auto Racing after being closed for the 2015 and 2016 seasons and has been racing special events so far this season, including an event on July 9th for the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance were 14 year old Carson Hocevar went to victory lane becoming the youngest winner ever in series history.
The series has had two events at Kil-Kare Raceway prior to this season. The first was in September of 2013 when two time ARCA/CRA Super Series Champion Travis Braden got the win. The second was in September of 2014 when Beavercreek, Ohio racer Brandon Oakley got his first series win holding off Braden to get win. Those two drivers were rivals for several seasons at Kil-Kare before each moving up to race at different levels. Braden, the defending Winchester 400 winner, picked up his first ARCA/CRA Super Series win of the 2017 season last week at Lucas Oil Raceway.
