The ARCA Midwest Tour presented by SCAG Power Equipment and Lester Buildings is proud to have AP Brakes as a sponsor for the series. AP Brakes provide brake calipers, rotors, and brake fluid that a variety of teams on the tour use. AP Brakes will also be giving away a pair of rotors to the sixth place finisher in each event.
Brian Hoppe, a former racer himself is now working with AP Brakes and Essex Parts and brings a wealth of knowledge to the series.
“We decided to sponsor the ARCA Midwest Tour because of what I knew about the series and the people who are running it and the racers that run in that series,” said Hoppe. “I know that the series is well liked by all of the competitors and we like to be involved with a series that is run professionally. Those are the two biggest reasons for being involved with the ARCA Midwest Tour.”
Hoppe would go on to talk about his company’s products and their value to the series.
“We offer top of the line brake equipment for racers that are looking for that extra edge when it comes to stopping,” said Hoppe. “I know from the tracks that the series races on, everyone needs all they can get when it comes to stopping.”
ARCA Midwest Tour Vice President Steve Einhaus added his thoughts about AP Brakes involvement with the Tour.
“It’s been a great relationship and the leading reason for that has been because Brian Hoppe has such a great Midwest connection with all of us,” said Einhaus. “He knows racing and he knows what has to be done to keep these guys successful. We’ll be partners for a very long time and we appreciate all that they do for the series.”
