Salem, IN (October 24, 2016) – Veteran Michigan racer Andy Bozell has won the T & K Trucking Season Hardcharger Award after nine JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance point events during the 2016 season. The 12 time Kalamazoo Speedway Late Model Champion gained a total of 50 positions during the 2016 season. Bozell gained 12 positions in the Big O Classic 100 at Owosso Speedway and gained 11 positions in the Master of the Pro’s 144 at Lebanon I-44 Speedway, were he picked up that event’s T & K Trucking Hardcharger Award. Bozell ended the season by gaining seven positions in the Winchester 100 at Winchester Speedway.
Phil Bozell, son of Andy, finished in second place with 36 gained positions for the season. 2016 JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Champion Cody Coughlin finished in third with 21 gained positions. Dakota Stroup finished in fourth with 13 gained positions, 2016 Van Doorn Racing Development Rookie of the Year Jack Dossey III finished in fifth place with 10 gained positions.
T & K Trucking will award Andy Bozell the T & K Trucking Season Hardcharger Award, and the $500 cash bonus, at the 2016 CRA Awards Banquet at the Crowne Plaza Indianapolis at Union Station on Friday, January 6th.
