Ali Kern Ready for Victories in CRA & ICAR Top Speed Modifieds in 2015

(Special from Ali Kern Motorsports)

Newport, Michigan (April 6, 2015) – Ali Kern has had a busy off season since the end of the 2014 racing season. The 21-year-old driver is in college full-time as
well as working a part-time job and even starting her own business. With the busyness off the track, the on track schedule for the upcoming 2015 campaign
has changed slightly. Kern, the 2013 ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS Rookie of the Year will run a select number of events with the ARCA/CRA Super
Series as well as returning to her roots by racing with the Broaster Chicken ICAR Top Speed Modified Tour.

While not chasing points in either series, Kern is simply going for the ‘W’ beginning with the 2015 season opener for the ARCA/CRA Super Series. The
7-Up 100 Presented by Royal Truck & Trailer Sales is on Saturday, April 11th at the fast 1/2 (0.500) mile high-banked paved oval of Toledo Speedway located just
45 minutes from the Ali Kern Motorsports race shops in Fremont, Ohio. A ‘home game’ for Kern, she’ll be sporting a new number (#4) and looks to make the most
of her limited schedule in 2015 and she’ll head to Toledo armed with Scott Neal and the Scott Neal Racing Team.

“We have a completely different game plan for 2015 and I’m really excited about it I think it’s the first time in the last 12 years that we’re not running for points, or
going after championships.” Explained Kern as final preparations are made before the short trip towards the Ohio / Michigan state line. “We have six ARCA/
CRA Super Series races with Scott Neal Racing on the schedule starting with Toledo. We had some great runs and a lot of fun with SNR last year so we signed
up for more.” She added.

During the 2014 racing season, Kern finished sixth in the season long points chase in a trying sophomore season. In 13 of the 14 points races she entered,
she garnered one top five finish, an impressive second place finish at Flat Rock Speedway (MI) on August 16th. Overall she recorded four top 10 finishes and
also led her first laps in ARCA/CRA competition at Flat Rock.

“2014 is in the rear view, but it was a real roller coaster year. We had some crazy bad luck riding with us. On the flip side we did run some great races and the
invite to the NASCAR Drive 4 Diversity Combine was amazing.” Kern continued.  “To have the opportunity to be there and to be the fastest female of all the invited drivers at a track I’d never seen in a car and seat that weren’t mine was awesome. It was a great way to end the year and gives us a lot of momentum for Toledo and for this season.” She stated.

As for her 2015 schedule, Kern is very excited to race in the select events she has chosen. “We’re very blessed to have Crown Battery back as our primary sponsor. Their continued support is priceless. I’m looking forward to competing in the ARCA/CRA Super Series races and to be running some of the ICAR Top Speed Modified Tour races as well.” Kern announced. “There’s no pressure this year so I’m just ready to go fast and turn left. I want the checkers this year. I’m tired of being a bridesmaid.” She ended.

For the 2015 racing season, Kern’s newly numbered #4 Ali Kern Motorsports / Scott Neal Racing / Ford Fusion will carry sponsorship decals and support all year long on both her ARCA/CRA Super Series Super Late Model and her ICAR Top Speed Modified Tour entry from Crown Battery as well as Port City Racecars, Eibach Springs, Hybrid Haven, VanDoorn Racing Development and M.P.H. Promotions.
