Ali Kern Looking To Make The Most Of Limited Appearances In 2015 With Two Races In Four Days

Kalamazoo Speedway & Flat Rock Speedway in a four-day span awaits 2013 Rookie of the Year

Fremont, Ohio (Tuesday, August 11, 2015): As 22-year-old Ali Kern has patiently waited for the next race on her schedule, the will to want to keep racing is still there. Even with running a limited schedule of events for Scott Neal Racing in the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS in 2015, the 2013 Rookie of the Year is looking to make the most of those races she does compete in.

After not competing since the Battle at Berlin 251 back on June 16th at Berlin Raceway (MI) where she qualified an impressive eighth quick out of 32 cars and finishing in 13th, the Fremont, Ohio driver will return to Michigan with a date at Kalamazoo Speedway (MI). The Boyne Machine Company 125 for the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS is part of the tracks biggest event of the year; Kalamazoo Klash XXIII. This event will be just her third race of the 2015 racing season and after nearly two months off, she’s eager to climb back behind the wheel.

“I’m just ready to be back behind the wheel of the #4 car. At Berlin that car was a rocket and we were consistently at the top of the speed charts for two days.” Offered the Buckeye State driver who will again have Scott Neal Racing at her side for this event and for the rest of the season. “That race was so much fun to run and if we wouldn’t have had a tire go down late in the race, we would have had a much better finish.”

“I’m looking forward to racing at Kalamazoo and then at Flat Rock this week.  Kalamazoo is a bad fast track and we had a great car there last year. Scott Neal Racing is making sure we do this year too.” She continued. “What can I say about Flat Rock Speedway, I love that track!  We’ve ran there twice and finished P2 both times.  Maybe the third time is the charm. We would like to give a special “Thank You” to Hal Hawk and Crown Battery for their continued support.” She ended.

During the 2014 racing season, Kern finished sixth in the season long points chase in a trying sophomore season. In 13 of the 14 points races she entered, she garnered one top five finish, an impressive second place finish at Flat Rock Speedway (MI) on August 16th. Overall she recorded four top 10 finishes and also led her first laps in ARCA/CRA competition at Flat Rock.

For the rest of the 2015 racing season, Kern’s #4 Ali Kern Motorsports / Scott Neal Racing / Ford Fusion will carry sponsorship decals and support all year long from Crown Battery as well as Port City Racecars, Eibach Springs, Hybrid Haven and M.P.H. Promotions.
