A “Super” Time on Tap for Reigning JEGS/CRA Champion Leeck

Huntersville, N.C. (September 2, 2015) – Reigning JEGS/CRA Stars Tour Champion Dan Leeck will jump behind the wheel of an ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS Super Late Model this weekend at Winchester Speedway (Ind.). After second consecutive top-five efforts including an impressive second-place run at Flat Rock Speedway (Mich.), Leeck will try his luck again within the ARCA/CRA Super Series. Although not running for points in any specific series, the Great Lakes State driver has had a great season that includes a win at Dixie Motor Speedway (Mich.).

Leeck thoroughly enjoys the challenge of the (0.500) 1/2-mile Winchester Speedway located in Winchester, Ind. In 2013, during Winchester 400 weekend, he set fast time for the Winchester 100. Last year, he clinched the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour championship at the historic speedway.

“I’ve always enjoyed racing at Winchester Speedway,” Leeck said. “It will be a new challenge this time around. We are bringing a Super Late Model. I’m excited to get back behind the wheel after two great runs.”

“We have Corey Deuser returning to our JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Pro Late Model this weekend as well,” he continued. “It will be cool to work with Neil (May), Branden (Lines), and Derrick (Layne) again. We will bring the best car we can for Corey (Deuser).”

Although unsure what the remainder of the 2015 season holds for Dan Leeck Racing, the 25-year-old owner/driver plans on staying busy. His No. 12 Chevrolet SS will carry sponsorship from Mr. Asphalt, Wellman Excavating, Bridge Lake Auto and Repair, Diesel Truck Sales, Helm Electric, Beyea Custom Headers, Checkered Flag Graphics, Hightower Racing Transmission, and Ilmor/PHM Engines.
