2nd Annual Money in the Bank at Berlin Raceway Up next for the ARCA/CRA Super Series

Salem, IN (June 7, 2018) – The ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS will head north for its first of two events at Berlin Raceway in 2018. Monday’s 2nd Annual Money in the Bank Presented by Primera Plastics will be a non-points special event and one of the highest paying Super Late Model events in the country, with a $20,000 first place payoff. The event will be 150 green flag laps, teams will have six tires, and the event will feature controlled cautions to help keep expenses down for the teams.

 

The event will be a one day show on Monday with two hours and thirty minutes of practice, group qualifying, a last chance race if needed and 150 laps of exciting green flag racing. Pits open at 8am. Practice will begin at 12noon. Qualifying begins at 3:45pm. There will be an autograph session at 5:30pm. The racing action will begin at 6:30pm. The Must See Racing Sprint Car Series will also be in action with heat races and a 30 lap feature.

 

2nd Annual Money in the Bank Presented by Primera Plastics has a star studded list of 39 drivers entered for the event including NASCAR Star Kyle Busch, who has won Super Late Model events at Berlin Raceway in the past. NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Champion Matt Crafton is also entered to make his ARCA/CRA Super Series debut. NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and ARCA Racing Series competitor Harrison Burton is entered, he won the ARCA Racing Series event at Pocono last Friday. NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and Dirt Modified stand out Stewart Friesen is also entered.

 

Defending Money in the Bank Presented by Primera Plastics winner Bubba Pollard is entered to defend his win. Other top late model drivers from around the country who are entered include Jeff Choquette, Preston Peltier, Stephen Nasse, Boris Jurkovic, Brian Johnson, Jon Reynolds, Steve Dorer, and Kyle Jones.

 

Local stand outs Brian Campbell and Johnny VanDoorn are both entered. Both drivers are veterans with the ARCA/CRA Super Series, Campbell is second on the series all-time wins list with 24 wins to date, VanDoorn is a three time ARCA/CRA Super Series Champion. Both drivers have already been to victory lane this season in the Berlin Raceway Super Late Models.

 

2017 Berlin Raceway Super Late Model Champion Carson Hocevar is entered. Hocevar was the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour 2017 Rookie of the Year and set a rookie record with three series wins in 2017 and is that series Berlin Raceway track record holder.

 

Outlaw Late Model standout Terry Senneker is also entered in the Fair Racing Development entry. Senneker won the second Berlin Raceway Super Late Model feature last Saturday night in that car.

 

Other CRA drives entered include three time ARCA/CRA Super Series Champion Scott Hantz, Hunter Jack, Kyle Crump, Tristan Van Wieringen and Michael Simko.

There is a ton of local talent also represented on the entry list including Dave Lake, winner of the first feature for the Berlin Raceway Super Late Models last Saturday night. Also Nate Walton, Chris Koslek, Tim DeVos, Terry Van Haitsma, Jordan Dahlke, Lauren Bush, Ben Welch, Aaron Hulings, Dave Zagaiski and Lee Vandyk.
