Wilson Motorsports Rookies Ready For Redbud Debut

(Anderson, IN) – Two of the brightest young stars in Super Late Model racing will take a major step forward in their careers as Wilson Motorsports rookies Gavan Boschele and George Phillips prepare to make their debut in the prestigious 59th Annual CB Fabricating Redbud 400 at Anderson Speedway on Saturday, July 26. The 400-lap event serves as Round 8 of the ASA STARS National Tour, and will mark the first start in the crown jewel race for both drivers.

Boschele started off the season strong as he won the Clyde Hart Memorial at New Smyrna Speedway. Other top finishes for Boschele so far this season include a 3rd place finish at Hickory Motor Speedway in the Ross & Witmer 255 and a 5th place finish at Slinger Speedway in the El Bandido Yankee Tequila 300.

Phillips also started off the season with a strong run. He started the Clyde Hart Memorial in 20th and worked his way through the field to an impressive 4th place finish. He also had a Top 10 finish at Hickory Motor Speedway in the Ross & Witmer 255. Phillips is a former Champion of the Carolina Pro Late Model Series and he’s a former winner of the Heart to Hart Breast Cancer Foundation 100 at New Smyrna Speedway.

Race day for the 59th Annual Redbud 400 will be packed with action. Final practice for the Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA STARS National Tour competitors is set for 2:00 PM, followed by CorvetteParts.net Pole Qualifying at 6:00 PM. Fans will get a chance to meet their favorite drivers during an on-track autograph session at 6:30 PM, just before the green flag drops on the main event at 7:35 PM.

The Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA STARS National Tour is a twelve-race championship series, offering a $100,000 point fund. The tour will visit 12 different racetracks in 8 states in 2025, with the season beginning in February during Florida Speedweeks and concluding in early November at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway.
