Special from Wilson Motorsports
Mooresville, NC — June 9, 2026 — Wilson Motorsports today announced that Kasey Kleyn of Quincy, Washington, will join the team for a three-race agreement on the Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA STARS National Tour. Kleyn, the 2024 NWSLMS Champion, will pilot the No. 22 entry in three of the series’ premier short-track events during the summer season.
Kleyn is scheduled to compete at Slinger Super Speedway in Slinger, Wisconsin, for the Badger State 325 on June 21, followed by the Capital 200 at Madison International Speedway in Oregon, Wisconsin, on June 23. He will conclude the stretch at Owosso Speedway in Ovid, Michigan, for the Michigan 300 on August 26.
Under the direction of crew chief Joe DeGuevara, Kleyn will drive the iconic No. 22 machine alongside the Wilson Motorsports lineup, which also includes Kyle Steckly and Jade Avedisian.
“We at Wilson Motorsports are glad to have Kasey join our team for these three races to keep our Platinum program going on the ASA series. Kasey brings talent and experience for these tracks, as he has been there in prior years, and we look forward to him having great runs with us,” said Donnie Wilson, owner of Wilson Motorsports.
“I’m super excited and grateful for the opportunity to work with a team that has the accomplishments in the super late model world that Wilson Motorsports does. Joining them for the ASA STARS National Tour is a great opportunity for me,” said Kleyn.
A talented competitor from the Pacific Northwest, Kleyn brings experience and determination to one of short-track racing’s most recognizable programs. The Wilson Motorsports No. 22 has long been a front-running entry on the Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA STARS National Tour, and Kleyn will look to continue that tradition throughout his three-race campaign.
