William Sawalich Files Tar Heel 250 Entry

The 17 year old from Eden Prairie, MN is ready to roll in the Tar Heel 250 on Thursday May 23rd. Sawalich currently has a full 2024 schedule racing with Joe Gibbs Racing in the ARCA Menards Series, Tricon Garage in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, and Kevin Harvick Inc. in Late Models. He already has 1 ARCA Series win so far in 2024 back at the Phoenix Raceway in March.

Sawalich has been successful in the Late Model scene as well in his early career. The defending winner of the All American 400 finished in the top five in three of his four starts with the ASA STARS National Tour last season. As far as his success at Hickory Motor Speedway Sawalich is no stranger to Victory Lane. In 2022 he picked up 2 wins in Pro Late Model competition. Come Thursday May 23rd Sawalich will be one to keep your eye on.

The third race of the season will begin Wednesday May 22 with Hauler parking, tech inspection and practice. Go Fas Pole Qualifying and the 250 lap STARS Main Event set for Thursday, May 23. Joining the ASA STARS National Tour will be the INEX Legends.

ASA STARS National Tour

Founded by Track Enterprises President Bob Sargent, The ASA STARS National Tour for pavement super-late model stock cars debuted in March 2023 for Super Late Model racing in America.

The ASA STARS National Tour is a ten-race championship series, offering a $100,000 point fund. The tour will visit ten different race tracks in 7 states in 2024, with the season beginning in February during Florida Speedweeks, and concluding in early November at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway.
