Submit Your Nomination by Sunday Night…

When the ASA STARS National Tour rolls into Wisconsin June 14-16, the best of the best current super late model drivers will take on a Father’s Day Weekend doubleheader at two completely different racetracks.

The Capital 200 is scheduled for Friday, June 14 at the ½ mile Madison International Speedway; and the Father’s Day 100 is set for Sunday, June 16 at the Milwaukee Mile Speedway.

Lead by generational talents Ty Majeski and Bubba Pollard, a star-studded field of the top super late model pavement racers will look to etch their names into the short-track record books, adding to their already impressive resumes.

Majeski and Pollard are drawing comparisons to some of the greatest short track drivers in history, and rightly so. Pollard has over 150 main event feature wins in approximately 600 starts, with Majeski tallying more than 130 wins, not counting weekly shows.

With marquee victories among the wins for both Majeski and Pollard, fans and industry insiders cannot help but begin adding them into the conversation about the Greatest of All Time.

The ASA STARS PR Team has assembled a preliminary list of 35 drivers they feel deserve to be in the conversation for best pavement super-late model driver of all time. This list does not include most of the greatest NASCAR, INDYCar or open wheel drivers, and is intended to focus on short track, pavement oval track racers and their success in that specific category.
