Nashville, TN – The United Late Model Rules Alliance (ULRA) has released the 2026 Pro Late Model Specifications & Guidelines for those across the country who utilize the ULRA standard rule book. The ULRA, comprised of Champion Racing Association’s JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance, CARS Tour, CARS Tour Northwest, CARS Tour Southwest, Five Flags Speedway, Montgomery Motor Speedway, Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway, and New Smyrna Speedway continue to bring a common rules package to the country from north to south for Pro Late Model competitors.

The goal of the ULRA is to allow teams from all across the country to unload their Pro Late Model at various events and different race tracks, and expect their race car to be legal and have an expectation for standards and procedures. The ULRA has helped streamline and simplify the building process for teams to compete in events like the World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing, Masters of the Pros 200, Snowflake 100, the Winchester and All American 100s, Show Me the Money Series, and many more.

The ULRA notes that the 2026 rules updates are minimal for the new season; however, substantial changes to the ULRA Pro Late Model Rule Book are expected for the 2027 season. In conjunction with the Sealed Engine Alliance Leaders (SEAL), following extensive testing throughout the 2025 and 2026 seasons, SEAL and ULRA plan to announce new engine packages, which will be introduced in the summer of 2026 for 2027 competition.

A copy of the ULRA 2026 Rule Book can be found on participating organizations’ websites. Updates for the 2026 season are indicated in red print.

The first event of the 2026 season for the ULRA rules package is Saturday, January 24 during the Speedfest 2026 at Crisp Motorsports Park in Cordele, GA. The predecessor event to the traditional “Speedweeks”, Speedfest is the unofficial kick off to the season for the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour, which sanctions the 100 lap Pro Late Model contest.
