(Pensacola, FL) – Rising Super Late Model competitor Tristan McKee has officially entered the Sunshine State 200 presented by Appalachian Sucker Punch, joining an already competitive field for one of the premier early-season events on the ASA STARS National Tour calendar at Five Flags Speedway.
Tristan McKee enters the Sunshine State 200 carrying strong momentum following an impressive stretch of performances in Super Late Model competition. McKee captured the Hamke Racecars Pole Award at New Smyrna Speedway, showcasing his qualifying speed before going on to secure a strong third-place finish in the Clyde Hart Memorial. He also earned a Super Late Model victory at Cordele Motor Speedway a couple weeks ago. Adding to his recent accomplishments, McKee finished second in the Red Eye 100 at New Smyrna Speedway.
The Sunshine State 200 at Five Flags Speedway Race weekend begins Friday, March 13th with ASA STARS National Tour practice, followed by a full night of local racing featuring the Outlaws, Crown Stocks, and the Legacy Series. Saturday’s action shifts to an afternoon program, highlighted by Hamke Pole Qualifying at 11:00 AM, which will set the starting lineup for the 200-lap feature. The green flag for the Sunshine State 200 is scheduled for 1:05 PM. Fans unable to attend in person can watch both days of racing live on Track TV.
