Third-Generation Driver Penn Sauter to Compete in 37th Glass City 200 at Toledo Speedway

Toledo, OH – Continuing one of short track racing’s legacies, Penn Sauter has officially entered the 37th running of the CorvetteParts.Net Glass City 200, scheduled for Saturday, September 13 at Toledo Speedway.

Sauter, the son of NASCAR Truck Series champion Johnny Sauter and grandson of two time ARTGO Challenge Series Champion Jim Sauter, has quickly built a reputation of his own. He has earned two top-10 finishes with the ASA Midwest Tour and added three more top-10s in the Alive for Five Series at Dells Raceway Park. One of his strongest performances came in the White Race at Wisconsin International Raceway, part of the prestigious Red, White and Blue State Championship Series, where he finished a career-best second place.

Practice will get underway at Noon with the ASA STARS National Tour while CorvetteParts.Net Pole Qualifying is slated for 3:00 PM. Following Qualifying the Factory Stocks and Late Model Sportsman will run their features. At 4:30 PM we’ll have an on track autograph session with the field for the 37th CorvetteParts.Net Glass City 200 until 5:00 PM with the 200 lapper set to begin at 5:30 PM. Tickets are available now through toledospeedway.com and will also be available at the gate on Raceday.
