Toledo, OH – One of the most decorated short track racers in the country, Bubba Pollard, has filed his entry for the Glass City 200 at Toledo Speedway on Saturday, September 13. The prestigious 200-lap race is the 10th race of the Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA STARS National Tour Season.
Hailing from Senoia, Georgia, Pollard has long been regarded as one of the toughest and most respected Super Late Model drivers in America. Pollard comes into Toledo as the most recent winner with the Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA STARS National Tour having won the Michigan 300 at Owosso Speedway. With more than 100 victories to his name, including crown jewels such as the Oxford 250, All American 400, and Slinger Nationals, Pollard has proven himself on nearly every type of short track in the country. Now, he will look to add Toledo’s prestigious Glass City 200 trophy to his extensive resume.
Practice will get underway at Noon with the ASA STARS National Tour while CorvetteParts.Net Pole Qualifying is slated for 3:00 PM. Following Qualifying the Factory Stocks and Late Model Sportsman will run their features. At 4:30 PM we’ll have an on track autograph session with the field for the 37th CorvetteParts.Net Glass City 200 until 5:00 PM with the 200 lapper set to begin at 5:30 PM.
