(SAMSULA, FLORIDA) – Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA STARS National Tour rookie Tristian McKee (Williamsburg, VA) set fast time for Tuesday’s 27th Annual SIG Sauer Academy Clyde Hart Memorial 200 presented by Appalachian Sucker Punch.
McKee will make his debut in the Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA STARS National Tour event from the pole at New Smyrna Speedway after a lap of 17.734 in qualifying on Monday night. McKee claimed the $1,000 bonus for earning the Hamke Racecars Pole Award.
McKee made his first Super Late Model start at New Smyrna last month in the track’s Red Eye event and he finished second.
2025 All American 400 winner Dawson Sutton had the second-quickest time and will roll from the outside of the front row. Carson Brown, George Phillips, and Kasey Kleyn made up the top five.
Later in the night, Kole Raz won the last chance race over Max Reaves to secure spots in the starting field.
The Clyde Hart Memorial is set to go green on Tuesday, February 10, for the 27th running of the prestigious 200-lap Clyde Hart Memorial main event. An on-track autograph session will begin at 6:00 p.m. ET, with the green flag scheduled for 7:35 p.m.
