Rookie Driver Caden Kvapil Enter Wisconsin ASA STARS Doubleheader

First year ASA STARS National Tour driver Caden Kvapil has filed entries for both the Capital 200 and the Father’s Day 100 STARS events scheduled for June 14-16.

The Capital 200 is scheduled for Friday, June 14 at Madison International Speedway, and will serve as race #4 of the ASA Stars National Tour. The Father’s Day 100 is set for Sunday, June 16 at the Milwaukee Mile Speedway, and will mark the half-way point of the 2024 season.

Kvapil enters the Wisconsin Weekend Doubleheader 20th in ASA STARS National Tour Point Standings. The rookie from Mooresville, NC drives for Go Fas Racing, which fields race cars in many different series, including NASCAR.

The Kvapil name is no stranger to race fans in Wisconsin. Caden’s father Travis raced in the Midwest in the 1990’s, and won a track championship at Madison International Speedway in 1996. He moved onto the “ARTGO” super late model series before making his NASCAR Debut in 2001, where he finished fourth in points and earned the series Rookie of the Year honors.

During an 18 year career in NASCAR, Travis Kvapil made 271 NASCAR CUP SERIES Starts; 13 Xfinity Series and 197 Truck Series Starts. He recorded 9 wins while driving in the Truck Series.

Today, Travis has two sons racing; Carson – who races in the CARS Tour for Junior Motorsports, and Caden, who will make his racing debut at both Madison and Milwaukee on Father’s Day Weekend.

The Friday event at Madison is scheduled as a one-day show, with all on track activity June 14. The Milwaukee event will provide for practice and tech inspection for the ASA STARS National Tour on Saturday, June 15; with Go Fas Pole Qualifying and the Father’s Day 100 Sunday Afternoon, June 16.
