RISING STARS FILE ENTRIES TO SUNSHINE STATE 200

(Pensacola, Florida) The Sunshine State 200 Entry List continues to grow for the second race of the 2024 ASA STARS National Tour season. A group of rising stars have filed entries and plan to head to Pensacola, Florida for the March 24th Spring Break Double Header weekend at the historic 5 Flags Speedway.

Connor Okrzesik
Looking to make his 2nd career start with the ASA STARS National Tour the long time Southern Super Series competitor is looking for a good run on Sunday March 24th. The Grand Bay, AL driver has always been one to compete for the win. Okrzesik is a former winner of SpeedFest in Cordele, GA as well as the Rumble by the River 100 at Montgomery Motor Speedway. He also finished 4th in the 2018 Snowball Derby as well as a 3rd place finish in the Snowflake 100 that year.

Kyle Steckly
Coming off of an 8th place finish after starting 27th in his ASA STARS National Tour debut Kyle Steckly is looking for another solid run during the Sunshine State 200. The young Canadian driver from Milverton, Ontario was the 2023 APC United Late Model Series Champion where he picked up 2 wins during the season. Steckly ended his 2023 season with a 4th place finish in the All American 100 at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway and a 5th place finish at the Snowflake 100 at Five Flags Speedway.

Dawson Sutton
Following his run at Speedweeks in the Pro Late Models Dawson Sutton is looking to make a name for himself. The young driver picked up 3 wins during the 7 nights of competition and finished 2nd in the overall point standings. Sutton, who drives the Rackley War number 26 car finished 4th in the Super Lates at SpeedFest in Cordele back in January. The last time Sutton was at Five Flags Speedway he finished 4th in the Snowflake 100.

The ASA STARS National Tour returns to action on Sunday afternoon, March 24 for the Sunshine State 200 at the legendary Five Flags Speedway in a race that is co-sanctioned with the Southern Super Series. The event will be a “Spring Break Stock Car Double Header,” as the ASA STARS National Tour will be joined by the ARCA Menards Series East on Saturday, March 23. It’s all part of a three-day weekend of racing that begins on Friday, March 22 with the season opener for three local classes. ASA STARS National Tour

Founded by Track Enterprises President Bob Sargent, The ASA STARS National Tour for pavement super-late model stock cars debuted in March 2023 for Super Late Model racing in America.

The ASA STARS National Tour is a ten-race championship series, offering a $100,000 point fund. The tour will visit ten different race tracks in 7 states in 2024, with the season beginning in February during Florida Speedweeks, and concluding in early November at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway.
Track Enterprises (TE) is a racing Promotions Company based in Illinois, which owns and operates the ASA STARS National Tour. In addition to the STARS National Tour, Track Enterprises owns and operates Championship Racing Association (CRA) and the ASA Midwest Tour. TE also has a strategic alliance and controlling interest in the ASA Southern Super Series.

ASA Southern Super Series

The ASA Southern Super Series is a Southeast regional super late model pavement championship racing tour, owned and operated by Tim and Pat Bryant in partnership with Track Enterprises. Founded in 2013, the Series can trace its roots back to the former Southern All Stars Tour and today runs a 10-12 race schedule, competing primarily in Florida, Georgia, Alabama and North Carolina.
