February 4th, 2025 – The ASA STARS National Tour is excited to announce that Richie Wauters Racing has joined the ASA STARS National Tour Platinum Program Presented by Rackley Roofing and Track Enterprises, solidifying their commitment to competing at the highest level of super late model racing. Led by veteran crew chief and team owner Richie Wauters, the team brings decades of experience and success to the national stage.
Driving for Wauters in 2025 is short-track racing veteran and former ASA National Tour and NASCAR Truck Series champion Johnny Sauter. This dynamic combination brings together one of the most accomplished drivers in stock car racing and a team known for its success in super late model competition.
“We’re excited to be part of the Platinum Program and compete full-time in the ASA STARS National Tour,” said Richie Wauters, team owner. “This series is bringing back national-level excitement to super late model racing, and we’re looking forward to racing against the best teams and drivers in the country.”
The Platinum Program, unveiled for the 2025 season, offers a comprehensive package valued at $655,000, replacing the previous Winner’s Circle Program. This initiative aims to incentivize full-time participation by providing substantial financial support and resources to committed teams.

ASA STARS National Tour
Founded by Track Enterprises President Bob Sargent, The ASA STARS National Tour for pavement Super Late Model stock cars debuted in March 2023.
The ASA STARS National Tour is a twelve-race championship series, offering a $100,000 point fund. The tour will visit 12 different race tracks in 8 states in 2025, with the season beginning in February during Florida Speedweeks and concluding in early November at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway.

Track Enterprises (TE) is a racing Promotions Company based in Illinois, which owns and operates the ASA STARS National Tour.
