Rackley WAR Teammates Enter Tar Heel 250

Rookie of the Year contender Dawson Sutton is ready to roll in the Tar Heel 250 on Thursday May 23rd. Sutton currently is 2nd in Rookie standings behind Canada’s Kyle Steckly. The Lebanon, TN driver has shown signs of speed early this season. Sutton was on the move during the Sunshine State 200 at Five Flags Speedway before a mechanical failure ended his day early. He does have two top 5’s in Southern Super Series competition including a 4th place at SpeedFest and a 3rd place at Night 1 of the Gulf Coast Doubleheader. Sutton will head into Hickory looking to have a strong run at a track he ran well at in Pro Late Models just one season ago.

Gavan Boschele looks to make his ASA STARS National Tour debut during the Tar Heel 250. Boschele is a true rookie in Super Late Models having a handful of starts. Boschele is a former dirt Sprint Car and Midget driver having won with the Extreme Outlaw Midget Series at the Millbridge Speedway in 2022. Boschele raced Pro Late Models the past two seasons where he picked up two top 10 finishes at Hickory.
