North Carolina’s Carson Brown to Make Glass City 200 Debut at Toledo Speedway

Toledo, OH – Rising talent Carson Brown of New London, North Carolina, is set to make his debut in the 37th running of the CorvetteParts.Net Glass City 200 at Toledo Speedway on Saturday, September 13. The crown jewel event is part of the ASA STARS National Tour and will feature 200 laps of Super Late Model action on Toledo’s fast half-mile oval.

At just 17 years old, Brown has been climbing the ranks of short track racing with strong performances throughout the Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA STARS National Tour season. He picked up his first win with the series back at Madison in the El Bandido Yankee Tequila Capital 250. He also has five 4th place finishes and three CorvetteParts.Net Pole Awards. The defending Allen Turner Pro Late Model Champion at Five Flags Speedway currently sits 2nd in ASA STARS National Tour overall Point Standings while also leading the PepperJack Kennels Rookie of the Year Point Standings.

Practice will get underway at Noon with the ASA STARS National Tour while CorvetteParts.Net Pole Qualifying is slated for 3:00 PM. Following Qualifying the Factory Stocks and Late Model Sportsman will run their features. At 4:30 PM we’ll have an on track autograph session with the field for the 37th CorvetteParts.Net Glass City 200 until 5:00 PM with the 200 lapper set to begin at 5:30 PM.
