Matthew Craig to Field Two Cars at Dominion

(Woodford, VA) – Matthew Craig is coming off a 3rd place finish at Five Flags Speedway in the Sunshine State 200 presented by Appalachian Sucker Punch. Now Craig will make the trip up to Dominion and will be fielding a car for himself and Virginia native Landon Pembelton.

Pembelton is a stout competitor in the Late Model Stock ranks, especially at Dominion Raceway. Last season he won the Late Model Stock Track Championship and had 10 wins in 17 events and finished in the Top 5 in every event. Pembelton has also won a Late Model Stock Crown Jewel event. In 2021 he won the Valley Star Credit Union 300 at Martinsville Speedway. Pembelton has also won races at tracks like South Boston Speedway and the Pulaski Motorsports Park formerly known as Motor Mile Speedway.

Craig on the other hand is looking to keep his momentum going following a strong run at Five Flags Speedway. He currently sits 5th in the 2025 Point Standings. However the North Carolina driver is no stranger to being at the top of the point standings. He’s a former two time Champion of the CARS Tour Super Late Model Series and a three time Champion in the PASS South Series. Craig has also won big Super Late Model events. He’s a former winner of the FL Governor’s Cup and the All American 400. In his ten starts with the Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA STARS National Tour he has two poles, five Top 10’s and three Top 5’s. It’s only a matter of time before the 54 finds El Bandido Yankee Tequila Victory Lane with the Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA STARS National Tour.
