(Newton, NC) – Super Late Model driver Matthew Craig has announced his entry into the highly anticipated Ross & Witmer 255 at Hickory Motor Speedway on Thursday, May 22. The race is part of the Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA STARS National Tour and will feature a star-studded field of competitors.
In CARS Tour Super Late Model competition Craig is a 4 time winner at Hickory Motor Speedway. He is also a former winner of the All American 400 at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway and a former winner of the FL Governor’s Cup at New Smyrna Speedway. Currently Craig sits 4th in the 2025 Point Standings. The Tar Heel state driver will be one to keep your eye on come Thursday May 22nd as he looks to defend his home turf.

Founded by Track Enterprises President Bob Sargent, The Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA STARS National Tour for pavement Super Late Model stock cars debuted in March 2023.
The Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA STARS National Tour is a twelve-race championship series, offering a $100,000 point fund. The tour will visit 12 different racetracks in 8 states in 2025, with the season beginning in February during Florida Speedweeks and concluding in early November at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway.
