(New Smyrna Beach, FL) – North Carolina native Matthew Craig has filed his entry for the 26th Annual Clyde Hart Memorial on Tuesday February 11th at New Smyrna Speedway.
Last season in ASA Southern Super Series competition Craig had quite the season. He picked up the win in the Rumble by the River 125 at Montgomery Motor Speedway. He also went on to have 5 Top 5’s and 9 Top 10’s and finished 2nd in the overall point standings. Craig is no stranger to winning big races. He’s a former winner of the All American 400 at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway and the Florida Governor’s Cup at New Smyrna Speedway.
Last season with the ASA STARS National Tour Craig made 4 starts. He finished 14th in the Clyde Hart Memorial at New Smyrna Speedway, but backed that up with a 5th place finish at Five Flags Speedway in the Sunshine State 200. In the Tar Heel 250 at Hickory Motor Speedway Craig finished 4th. He rounded out the season in the All American 400 at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway with a 9th place finish.

ASA STARS National Tour
Founded by Track Enterprises President Bob Sargent, The ASA STARS National Tour for pavement Super Late Model stock cars debuted in March 2023.
The ASA STARS National Tour is a twelve-race championship series, offering a $100,000 point fund. The tour will visit 12 different race tracks in 8 states in 2025, with the season beginning in February during Florida Speedweeks and concluding in early November at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway.
