Five Flags By the Numbers

Pensacola, FL – This year’s Sunshine State 200 is shaping up to be a must see event. In what is being coined as the spring break of stock car racing, let’s dive into some numbers before we hit the track on Sunday.

1 – The point lead Casey Roderick has over Bubba Pollard after combining qualifying, stage, and race results points.

2 – This is the second race of the 2024 season for the ASA STARS National Tour out of the 10 scheduled events.

3 – There will be three number 14’s entered for the event. Michael Atwell, Austin Nason and Connor Okrzesik.

5 – Bubba Pollard currently holds a 5 point lead over Casey Roderick in the 2024 Southern Super Series points standings after 2 events. (SpeedFest & Clyde Hart Memorial)

6 – The number of drivers entered who are Five Flags Speedway Track Champions (Bubba Pollard, Casey Roderick, John Bolen, Dylan Fetcho, Timothy Watson, Jake Finch)

10 – The number of points earned by the winner of each Phoenix Water Solutions stages.

13 – The 2023 ARCA Menards West Series Champion Sean Hingorani will be behind the wheel of a Derek Thorn prepared machine. Look for the young up and comer Hingorani and Thorn combination to find success in the Sunshine State 200

14 – The number of states that will be represented on Sunday

16 – Three time Southwest Tour Champion Jacob Gomes will look for a strong run during the Sunshine State 200. Gomes finished in 8th just one year ago.

23 – Kyle Steckly passed 23 cars in his ASA STARS National Tour debut during the Clyde Hart Memorial at New Smyrna Speedway

26 – Casey Roderick looks to go back to back and bring the Sunshine State 200 trophy back to Pulaski, MS

28 – Former Outlaw Champion at Five Flags Speedway, and Southern Super Series Rookie of the Year contender, Timothy Watson is looking to keep a strong 2024 season rolling heading into Sunday March 24th

32 – The number of drivers currently entered for the Sunshine State 200

33 – Former Jennerstown Speedway (Pennsylvania) Champion Albert Francis is looking for a solid run in race 2 of the 2024 ASA STARS National Tour season

44 – Conner Jones picked up his first career Go Fas pole award in the Clyde Hart Memorial proving he and his team have a fast car in 2024.

50 – 2023 Bigley Memorial event winner Jett Noland is coming off a 2nd place finish in the Clyde Hart Memorial 200

51 – After a near sweep of the Rattler weekend, former 5 Flags Track Champion Jake Finch is looking to ride the momentum going into the Sunshine State 200. Finch will also be competing in the ARCA East event Saturday night.

78 – Rising Star Jo Lawrence from London, Ontario Canada looks to make his 2nd career start with the ASA STARS National Tour

200 – The number of feature laps to determine who will be the 2024 Sunshine State 200 winner

ASA Southern Super Series

The ASA Southern Super Series is a Southeast regional super late model pavement championship racing tour, owned and operated by Tim and Pat Bryant in partnership with Track Enterprises. Founded in 2013, the Series can trace its roots back to the former Southern All Stars Tour and today runs a 10-12 race schedule, competing primarily in Florida, Georgia, Alabama and North Carolina.
