(Pensacola, FL) – Pensacola, FL — The stage is set for one of the premier early-season events in Super Late Model racing as 27 drivers have officially entered the Sunshine State 200 presented by Appalachian Sucker Punch at Five Flags Speedway on Saturday, March 14, 2026.
The 27-car entry list showcases a dynamic mix of championship-winning veterans, emerging young talent, and accomplished contenders from across North America, further demonstrating the continued growth and competitive depth of the ASA STARS National Tour. Drivers representing both the United States and Canada will take on the historic half-mile oval, long regarded as one of short track racing’s premier and most challenging venues.
Among the entrants are past champions and major event winners alongside emerging contenders looking to make an early-season statement. The field includes experienced Super Late Model standouts such as Bubba Pollard, Derek Thorn, Casey Roderick, Stephen Nasse, and Cole Butcher, along with rising talents Carson Brown, Jade Avedisian, Chase Pinsonneault, Tristan McKee, and Ty Fredrickson. The strong mix of proven winners and hungry newcomers sets the stage for a highly competitive 200-lap showdown.
The Sunshine State 200 at Five Flags Speedway Race weekend begins Friday, March 13th with ASA STARS National Tour practice, followed by a full night of local racing featuring the Outlaws, Crown Stocks, and the Legacy Series. Saturday’s action shifts to an afternoon program, highlighted by Hamke Pole Qualifying at 11:00 AM, which will set the starting lineup for the 200-lap feature. The green flag for the Sunshine State 200 is scheduled for 1:05 PM. Fans unable to attend in person can watch both days of racing live on Track TV.
