Eddie MacDonald Enters Father’s Day 100

The Rowley, MA driver will make the long haul over to the state of Wisconsin next weekend for the Father’s Day 100 at the Milwaukee Mile.

MacDonald is a veteran late model racer who cut his teeth in series like the ACT Tour, Pass North and South Super Late Model Series. He is a former five time winner of the ACT Invitational at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway with the ACT Tour. His resume doesn’t just stop there however as he is also a two time winner of the famed Oxford 250 and a former winner of the legendary Vermont Milk Bowl at the Thunder Road International Speedbowl.

When the ASA Midwest Tour made its return to the Milwaukee Mile in 2019 Eddie MacDonald was in that race and came away with a solid 9th place finish. When you think of Late Model stars in the Northeast it is impossible to not think of Eddie MacDonald.

The Friday event at Madison is scheduled as a one-day show, with all on track activity June 14. The Milwaukee event will provide for practice and tech inspection for the ASA STARS National Tour on Saturday, June 15; with Go Fas Pole Qualifying and the Father’s Day 100 Sunday Afternoon, June 16. Founded by Track Enterprises President Bob Sargent, The ASA STARS National Tour for pavement super-late model stock cars debuted in March 2023 for Super Late Model racing in America.

The ASA STARS National Tour is a ten-race championship series, offering a $100,000 point fund. The tour will visit ten different race tracks in 7 states in 2024, with the season beginning in February during Florida Speedweeks, and concluding in early November at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway.
