Highlands Motorsports is excited to announce their participation in the 2025 ASA STARS National Tour, showcasing talented driver Derek Thorn in their #96 Super Late Model Fury. Co-owner Josh Reeves emphasized the partnership’s potential and expressed gratitude to Marty Melo from ASA STARS for providing all the information they needed about their series and helping launch the new ASA STARS National Tour Platinum program to help with the decision to compete in this prestigious national series.
Thorn, recognized for his exceptional driving skills, stated, “This is a great opportunity and I look forward to contributing as much as I can to Josh and the entire Highland Motorsports program. We will take it one race at a time and build our notebook.” His experience will be instrumental in enhancing the team’s competitiveness as they adapt to the challenges of the tour. The season kicks off at Speedweeks on February 11 at New Smyrna Speedway, marking a significant milestone for Highlands Motorsports as they strive for another successful season filled with exciting performances.
