Derek Kraus Set to Compete in 54th Running of the Winchester 400

Winchester, Ind. – Wisconsin’s Derek Kraus has officially entered the 54th Annual Winchester 400, one of the crown jewel events in Super Late Model racing. The prestigious 400-lap event, sanctioned by the ASA STARS National Tour, will be held on Sunday, October 12 at the historic Winchester Speedway.

Kraus, from Stratford, Wisconsin, has had success starting at a young age. He is the 2019 ARCA Menards Series West Champion and remains the youngest winner in ASA Midwest Tour history. Kraus has also earned victories in the Futures and the Knights race at the Oktoberfest Race Weekend at La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway. So far in 2025 Kraus broke through for his first ASA STARS National Tour victory during the Food Country USA 300 at Newport Speedway.


The 54th Running of the Winchester 400 presented by Vore’s Welding and Steel takes place on Sunday, October 12, 2025 at Winchester Speedway. Racing action kicks off on Friday night with the CRA JEGS All Stars Tour while Saturday features ASA STARS National Tour Practice, CorvetteParts.Net Pole Qualifying as well as racing action including the Modifieds, CRA Street Stocks and CRA Late Model Sportsman.
