Dakoda Armstrong Enters 59th Annual CB Fabricating Redbud 400

(Anderson, IN) – Veteran short track racer Dakoda Armstrong is set to return to one of the Midwest’s most prestigious Super Late Model events, officially entering the 59th Annual CB Fabricating Redbud 400 at Anderson Speedway on Saturday, July 26, 2025.

Armstrong, a native of nearby New Castle, Indiana, brings a wealth of experience back to the high-banked quarter-mile where he’s logged laps in everything from midgets to stock cars. He already has a win at Anderson in 2025 back in April with the 500 Sprint Car Tour. He’s also a two time winner of the Tony Elliott Classic at Anderson having won in 2023 and 2024. The open wheel standout is also a two time winner with the USAC Silver Crown Series picking up wins at Madison International Speedway and World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway. Now Armstrong will jump behind the wheel of the Wauters Motorsports 5 car and make his 2nd career start with the Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA STARS National Tour.

Race day for the 59th Annual Redbud 400 will be packed with action. Final practice for the Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA STARS National Tour competitors is set for 2:00 PM, followed by CorvetteParts.net Pole Qualifying at 6:00 PM. Fans will get a chance to meet their favorite drivers during an on-track autograph session at 6:30 PM, just before the green flag drops on the main event at 7:35 PM.

The Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA STARS National Tour is a twelve-race championship series, offering a $100,000 point fund. The tour will visit 12 different racetracks in 8 states in 2025, with the season beginning in February during Florida Speedweeks and concluding in early November at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway.
