Current Point Leader Cole Butcher Files Tar Heel 250 Entry

Following his Sunshine State 200 victory at the Five Flags Speedway current point leader Cole Butcher will set his sights on the Tar Heel 250. The driver of the Donnie Wilson #28 car has had strong runs before at the Hickory Motor Speedway. Last season in the 2023 running of the Tar Heel 250 Butcher came away with a 3rd place finish. In Pro Late Model competition he was able to pick up the win holding off ASA STARS Rookie driver Caden Kvapil. The two time and defending winner of the famed Oxford 250 will look to park it in Victory Lane and take home the $15,000 pay day on Thursday May 23rd.

The third race of the season will begin Wednesday May 22 with Hauler parking, tech inspection and practice. Go Fas Pole Qualifying and the 250 lap ASA STARS Nation Tour Main Event set for Thursday, May 23. Joining the ASA STARS National Tour will be the INEX Legends.

ASA STARS National Tour

Founded by Track Enterprises President Bob Sargent, The ASA STARS National Tour for pavement super-late model stock cars debuted in March 2023 for Super Late Model racing in America.

The ASA STARS National Tour is a ten-race championship series, offering a $100,000 point fund. The tour will visit ten different race tracks in 7 states in 2024, with the season beginning in February during Florida Speedweeks, and concluding in early November at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway.
 
Track Enterprises (TE) is a racing Promotions Company based in Illinois, which owns and operates the ASA STARS National Tour. In addition to the STARS National Tour, Track Enterprises owns and operates Championship Racing Association (CRA) and the ASA Midwest Tour.
