Clyde Hart Memorial Storylines to Watch

The first race of the 2025 season for the ASA STARS National Tour is two days away! Here are some stories to watch unfold for the 26th Annual Clyde Hart Memorial at New Smyrna Speedway on Tuesday, February 11th.

36 Cars Now Entered
The Entry List for the Clyde Hart Memorial is now up to 36 cars with drivers from 15 states and Canada.

Canadian Drivers Migrating South
5 Drivers from Canada will be making their way down including Kyle Steckly, Chase Pinsonneault, Cole Butcher, Nicholas Naugle and Corey Hall.

Midwest Drivers Well Represented
9 drivers from WI, IL, IN, MN, including the defending ASA STARS National Tour Champion Ty Majeski and two time and defending ASA Midwest Tour Champion Gabe Sommers. Other notables from the midwest include Paul Shafer Jr, Ty Fredrickson, Austin Nason, Johnny Sauter, Derek Kraus, Billy VanMeter and Weston Marthaler.

The Next Generation
The PepperJack Kennels Rookie of the Year battle is shaping up to be one for the ages. George Phillips, Gavan Boschele, Carson Brown, Chase Pinsonneault and Ty Fredrickson are all set to run for the PepperJack Kennels Rookie of the Year.

Former Event Winners
Three former Clyde Hart Memorial winners are entered for this Tuesday. Hometown hero Brad May, Bubba Pollard and Stephen Nasse have all won the race in honor of New Smyrna Speedway’s founding father.

Southern Drivers Look to Defend Home Turf
17 Drivers from the south including FL, SC, NC, GA, TN, AL, VA, are all entered. Drivers like Brad May, George Gorham Jr, Colby Howard, George Phillips, Gavan Boschele, Bubba Pollard, Dawson Sutton, Bobby Good, Dustin Smith, Conner Jones, Stephen Nasse, Jake Finch, Matthew Craig, William Sawalich, Michael Hinde, Carson Brown and Spencer Davis.

How the West Was Won
Former Snowball Derby winner and 6 time SPEARS Southwest Tour Champion Derek Thorn is ready to run for the ASA STARS National Tour Championship. Thorn will be behind the wheel of the Highlands Motorsports 96 machine.

ASA STARS National Tour

Founded by Track Enterprises President Bob Sargent, The ASA STARS National Tour for pavement Super Late Model stock cars debuted in March 2023.

The ASA STARS National Tour is a twelve-race championship series, offering a $100,000 point fund. The tour will visit 12 different race tracks in 8 states in 2025, with the season beginning in February during Florida Speedweeks and concluding in early November at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway.
