Young up and coming driver Carson Brown is teaming up with Save22.Vet and PepperJack Kennels to raise awareness and support for veteran suicide prevention through a special effort.
Save22.Vet is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing resources, support, and hope to veterans and first responders battling PTSD and mental health challenges. The organization’s mission centers around reducing veteran suicide, symbolized by the number 22, representing the estimated 22 veterans lost to suicide each day.
Brown, who is a fulltime Platinum driver in the ASA STARS National Tour that drives the No. 81 Pay Cafe, Ebb Logistics, Save22.Vet Chevrolet for Anthony Campi Racing, will take his support beyond the racetrack by launching a special program with PepperJack Kennels to take their support a step further by providing and a fully certified service dog for a veteran in need through Save22.Vet’s network. The service dog will be matched with a veteran facing post-traumatic stress or related challenges, offering companionship, comfort, and vital emotional support.
The campaign will consist of track activations to bring awareness to Save22.Vet and will include fundraising initiatives such as apparel campaigns, with all proceeds benefiting the Save22.Vet service dog program. Fans can purchase campaign specific shirts and sweatshirts, with every dollar going directly to the foundation to help fund this new project.
“It’s an honor to represent Save22.Vet and support such an important cause,” said Brown. “Our veterans have sacrificed so much for us, and this is one small way we can give back and raise awareness. Hopefully, through racing and the amazing support from our fans, we can help make a difference in the lives of those who’ve served.”
“We’re proud to see Carson using his platforms to support Save22.Vet,” said Misty Melo, owner of PepperJack Kennels. “This partnership goes beyond racing, it’s about community, compassion, and helping the people who’ve protected our freedom.”
Fans attending the 40th Running of the All American 400 at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway and the 58th Annual Snowball Derby at Five Flags Speedway, will have opportunities to purchase the apparel in person, as well as online through Carson Brown’s official merchandise website with further announcements coming soon!
