CARS Tour, ASA STARS National Tour announce prize packages for Tri-County weekend

A super-sized weekend at Tri-County Motor Speedway between the zMAX CARS Tour and ASA STARS National Tour next month will feature opportunities for race fans to win a variety of prize packages.

Fans who buy pre-sale tickets for Tri-County until the cut-off date on Sept. 7 will automatically be entered into a drawing where they can receive one of four different prizes. Winners are going to be selected from all combined ticket sales and will receive something from both the CARS Tour and ASA.

Karsyn Elledge, the partnerships and marketing manager for the CARS Tour, believes it made too much sense to have some kind of collaboration with ASA while both divisions were at the same track. She added the purpose of such an initiative is to put fans first and ensure they can enjoy everything CARS and ASA have to offer at Tri-County.

“Any opportunity we have to work together as racing series to enhance the fan experience is an opportunity we should take,” Elledge said. “We’re excited to partner with ASA to bring race fans a can’t-miss week of racing, along with exclusive prizes and experiences. A rising tide raises all ships, and that’s exactly what we aim to accomplish through this partnership.”

The first giveaway will be a pair of gloves signed by the CARS Tour ownership group of Dale Earnhardt Jr., Kevin Harvick, Jeff Burton and Justin Marks. On the ASA side, a lucky fan will receive signed merchandise from both Kevin and Keelan Harvick.

A pace car ride-along is up for grabs as part of the second giveaway. This opportunity extends to the race-winning fan and a guest of their choosing, who will get an up-close view of the front row during pace laps for the CARS Tour and ASA features.

Giveaway three is two VIP experiences to the CARS Tour and ASA championship events at South Boston Speedway and the Governor’s Cup at New Smyrna Speedway, respectively. This prize package encompasses a pit pass, suite access (not available for New Smyrna) and photos with the race winners and series champions.

The final prize package is a mixed bag of merchandise from both the CARS Tour and ASA. It also consists of two pit pass upgrades for each Tri-County race.

This collaboration between the CARS Tour and ASA came together after the latter’s planned event at Tri-County in May was postponed due to inclement weather. The rescheduled Carolina 250 will now take place on Wednesday, Sept. 9, with the CARS Tour still holding its two events on that Saturday evening.

A fun month of build-up is ahead for fans eager to see their favorite drivers across the CARS Tour and ASA platforms at Tri-County, some of whom will be lucky enough to receive merchandise or improve their race day experience. Winners of each giveaway will be announced on social media on Sept 7.

The ASA STARS National Tour’s Carolina 250 will air on tracktv.com, while FloRacing will stream the zMAX CARS Tour’s Pro Late Model and Late Model Stock features.
