(Thornburg, VA) – Three drivers north of the border will be rolling into Dominion Raceway for the Appalachian Sucker Punch 250.
PepperJack Kennels Rookie of the Year competitor Chase Pinsonneault is among the three drivers from Canada. Last season Pinsonneault ran with the CRA JEGS All Star Tour and finished 2nd in the points with one feature win at Owosso Speedway in the Big O Classic 100. Last season he also ran 3 races with the ASA STARS National Tour and finished 8th at Owosso and Toledo and finished 4th at Winchester in the Winchester 400.
Cole Butcher is currently 2nd in Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA STARS National Tour point standings. Butcher comes into Dominion as the most recent winner having just won at Five Flags Speedway. He’s no stranger to Victory Lane having won the Sunshine State 200 twice, the Oxford 250 twice and he’s won the Tar Heel 250 and the Redbud 400.
Kyle Steckly is currently in his Sophomore season with the Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA STARS National Tour. Last season Steckly was the Rookie of the Year and picked up his first win at Anderson Speedway in the Redbud 400. He also went on to finish 2nd in the point standings. Steckly is also the two time and defending Series Champion with the APC United Late Model Series in Canada.

Founded by Track Enterprises President Bob Sargent, The Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA STARS National Tour for pavement Super Late Model stock cars debuted in March 2023.
The Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA STARS National Tour is a twelve-race championship series, offering a $100,000 point fund. The tour will visit 12 different racetracks in 8 states in 2025, with the season beginning in February during Florida Speedweeks and concluding in early November at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway.
