(Newton, NC) – Canadian driver Chase Pinsonneault is set to compete in the Ross & Witmer 255, presented by Appalachian Sucker Punch, on Thursday, May 22, at the historic Hickory Motor Speedway.
Pinsonneault, a 19-year-old native of Belle River, Ontario, is competing full-time in the 2025 ASA STARS National Tour as Platinum Program presented by Rackley Roofing driver. In 2024, Pinsonneault earned Rookie of the Year honors and secured a second-place finish in the CRA JEGS All-Stars Tour standings, including a victory at the Big O Classic at Owosso Speedway. He also made three starts in the ASA STARS National Tour last season, with a best finish of fourth at the Winchester 400.
The Ross & Witmer 255 is shaping up to be a big event in the ASA STARS National Tour calendar, attracting top-tier talent from across the country. Founded by Track Enterprises President Bob Sargent, The Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA STARS National Tour for pavement Super Late Model stock cars debuted in March 2023.
The Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA STARS National Tour is a twelve-race championship series, offering a $100,000 point fund. The tour will visit 12 different racetracks in 8 states in 2025, with the season beginning in February during Florida Speedweeks and concluding in early November at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway.
