Bubba Pollard Files Entry For Tar Heel 250

Bubba Pollard is gearing up for the Tar Heel 250 coming up on Thursday May 23rd. Pollard currently sits 4th in ASA STARS National Tour points. He kicked off the ASA STARS National Tour season with a win in the Clyde Hart Memorial at New Smyrna Speedway back in February. The fan favorite Pollard made his debut in the NASCAR Xfinity Series at the Richmond Raceway where he came away with a 6th place finish.

Pollard is a former winner at the Hickory Motor Speedway having won in the former CARS Super Late Model Series back in 2020 and 2019. After starting the year off 3 for 3 in Super Late Model competition Pollard looks to get back to his winning ways on Thursday May 23rd during the Tar Heel 250.

The third race of the season will begin Wednesday May 22 with Hauler parking, tech inspection and practice. Go Fas Pole Qualifying and the 250 lap ASA STARS Nation Tour Main Event set for Thursday, May 23. Joining the ASA STARS National Tour will be the INEX Legends.

Founded by Track Enterprises President Bob Sargent, The ASA STARS National Tour for pavement super-late model stock cars debuted in March 2023 for Super Late Model racing in America.

The ASA STARS National Tour is a ten-race championship series, offering a $100,000 point fund. The tour will visit ten different race tracks in 7 states in 2024, with the season beginning in February during Florida Speedweeks, and concluding in early November at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway.
