Bubba Pollard Enters ASA STARS National Tour Madison / Milwaukee Doubleheader

Short Track Superstar Bubba Pollard and his entourage will make the near 900 mile trek north next week, heading to Wisconsin for the ASA STARS National Tour Father’s Day Weekend Doubleheader.

Pollard has filed his entry for both the Capital 200 on Friday, June 14 at Madison International Speedway, and for the Father’s Day 100 at the Milwaukee Mile Speedway.
The Senoia, GA racer has had his share of success at Madison, having won the 2019 ASA Midwest Tour “Joe Shear Classic 200,” and finishing 2nd to Ty Majeski in the ASA STARS National Tour visit to the Oregon, WI half-mile oval last spring.

The Milwaukee Mile, however, is one of the few racetracks in the country where Pollard has not found victory lane. Pollard started 13th and finished 8th in the “Father’s Day 100 in 2023.

Long distance travel is nothing new to Pollard. Last weekend, he ventured to the Wenatchee Valley Super Oval in Washington State to race in a $25,000-to-win” super late model event. Upon entering the Wenatchee race, the track posted a $1,000 bounty on Pollard, who finished 3rd in the 200 lap event. Pollard has won the Oxford 250 in Maine, the “Battle at Berlin 250” in Michigan, and the Slinger Nationals in Wisconsin. In September 2019, Pollard won his second consecutive Canadian Short Track Nationals at Jukasa Motor Speedway, winning $75,000 CAD ($56,000 USD). Pollard has accumulated more than 150 career super late model victories.

Pollard enters the Father’s Day Weekend doubleheader 3rd in ASA STARS National Tour points. He started the 2024 season red-hot, winning the ASA Southern Super Series “Speedfest 150” at Cordelle, GA in January, and the ASA STARS season opening “Clyde Hart Memorial 200” at New Smyrna Speedway during Florida Speedweeks in February, followed by his 2nd consecutive and 3rd overall “Rattler 250” in Alabama.

Advance sale discount tickets for the Capital 200 at Madison International Speedway are available via the Ticket Hoss app, while Father’s Day 100 tickets for the Milwaukee Mile can be found at bit.ly/FathersDay100Tix. Advance sale pit passes are available online via the Pit Pay app. Tickets and pit passes will also be available at the tracks on race day.

The Capital 200 at Madison International Speedway is scheduled as a one-day show, with all on track activity June 14. The Milwaukee Mile event will provide for practice and tech inspection for the ASA STARS National Tour on Saturday, June 15; with Go Fas Pole Qualifying and the Father’s Day 100 Sunday Afternoon, June 16.
