Billy VanMeter to Compete in 54th Annual Winchester 400

Winchester, Ind. – Indiana’s own Billy VanMeter has officially entered the 54th Annual Winchester 400, joining a stacked field of Super Late Model talent for one of short track racing’s most prestigious crown jewel events. The 400-lap classic, sanctioned by the ASA STARS National Tour, will be contested on Sunday, October 12 at the legendary Winchester Speedway.

VanMeter enters the Winchester 400 riding strong momentum as the current point leader in the CRA JEGS All Star Tour. He is a proven winner in the series, having captured a victory at Auto City Speedway, and has also built an impressive track record at Winchester itself. VanMeter is a three-time winner at Winchester Speedway in the CRA Late Model Sportsman Series, giving him valuable experience and confidence heading into one of the most demanding races in the country.


The 54th Running of the Winchester 400 presented by Vore’s Welding and Steel takes place on Sunday, October 12, 2025 at Winchester Speedway. Racing action kicks off on Friday night with the CRA JEGS All Stars Tour while Saturday features ASA STARS National Tour Practice, CorvetteParts.Net Pole Qualifying as well as racing action including the Modifieds, CRA Street Stocks and CRA Late Model Sportsman.
