Battle of Broadway 150 at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway features Talent and $10K to Win

Nashville, TN – A big event on the calendar in 2024 is the Battle of Broadway 150 on Thursday at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway in a co-sanctioned event with the Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway Pro Late Models and the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance. It’s the first of two scheduled non-points events at Nashville for the JEGS Tour this season including All American 400 weekend in November. Thursday’s special offers drivers a shot at $10K to win and $750 to start. Fans will see regulars of Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway go head-to-head with two of NASCAR’s current superstars, Ross Chastain and Josh Berry.

The Nashville regulars are no slouch of race car drivers across the country. Dawson Sutton, the Lebanon, TN native, is fresh off his first career ASA STARS National Tour win at the Milwaukee Mile on Father’s Day weekend. He’ll bring that momentum into Nashville on Thursday in his Rackley Roofing No.26 the first event at Nashville since he won on June 8th. Sutton sits as the current points leader for NFS Pro Late Models entering Thursday’s event with a 29 point cushion on Corey Deuser.

As for Deuser, he collected his first career Nashville win earlier this season holding off Sutton for the accomplishment. The Georgetown, IN native started on the pole and was able to drive all the way to Victory Lane during the May 11th contest. Dueser has been extremely consistent this season, not finishing outside of the top 10.

Stewart-Haas Racing driver in the NASCAR Cup Series, Josh Berry makes his return to his home area this weekend and hopes to go to Victory Lane in his homecoming. Berry will pilot the Fetcho Motorsports prepared No.4 on Thursday alongside fellow NASCAR Cup Series driver, Ross Chastain. Chastain will sit behind the wheel of the Tootsie’s sponsored No.1 on Thursday, a return to Template Late Model Racing that didn’t have that much down time. Chastain finished second to Stephen Nasse in January at Crisp Motorsports Park with the JEGS Tour during Speedfest.

Other notables to watch include two-time Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway track champion, Cole Williams as he returns in his No.46. Brett Robinson will bring his Brandon Oakley Racecars No.5 on Thursday to compete with others like Michael and Daniel Bolden, Boston Oliver, Trey Craig, and others.
