(Anderson, IN) – Roscoe, Illinois native Austin Nason has filed his entry for the 58th Annual Redbud 400 on Saturday July 20th.
When it comes to short track bullrings Austin Nason is no stranger to running up front. Nason cut his teeth on Saturday nights at the Rockford Speedway which closed its doors following the 2023 season. He went on to win the prestigious National Short Track Championship twice winning the event back to back in 2021 and 2022. His short track success doesn’t just stop there as he also has four Top Five finishes at Slinger Speedway in the Slinger Nationals.
Nason has run the Redbud 400 every year since 2018. He’s finished on the podium twice with a 3rd place finish in 2018 and again in 2021. Nason currently sits 5th in points and has had a solid season thus far. Coming off a 3rd place finish in the Capital 200 at Madison International Speedway Nason will look to use this momentum to his advantage as he heads into the Redbud 400 on Saturday July 20th.
The Redbud 400 is scheduled for Friday and Saturday at Anderson (IN) Speedway. The event will serve as race #6 of the ASA Stars National Tour season. The Redbud 400 will be co-sanctioned by the ASA CRA Super Series.
Advance sale, discount tickets for the 2024 ASA STARS National Tour Redbud 400 event are now on sale. Tickets can be purchased by visiting the Anderson Speedway Ticket Office or online HERE! Advance sale tickets are $20 for adults through Friday, July 19th and go up to $25 on Saturday, July 20th (Race Day). Tickets for kids aged 6-12 will be $10 and kids aged 5 and under will be free. Seating for this event is general admission seating.
Hauler parking, tech inspection and practice are scheduled for Friday, July 19. Go Fas Pole Qualifying and the 400 lap STARS Main Event are set for Saturday, July 20.
The return of the ASA STARS National Tour to Anderson will take place in conjunction with Indianapolis Motor Speedway’s huge Brickyard 400 Weekend, and ARCA and NASCAR Truck Series events at Indianapolis Raceway Park. The Redbud 400 start time has been moved back to 8:00PM Eastern Time, allowing fans to make the trek northeast from INDY to catch the Stars and Cars of ASA.

Founded by Track Enterprises President Bob Sargent, The ASA STARS National Tour for pavement super-late model stock cars debuted in March 2023 for Super Late Model racing in America.
The ASA STARS National Tour is a ten-race championship series, offering a $100,000 point fund. The tour will visit ten different race tracks in 7 states in 2024, with the season beginning in February during Florida Speedweeks, and concluding in early November at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway.
