ASA Weekend Preview

Although the ASA STARS National Tour is in the midst of its longest break of the 2024 season, the ASA Southern Super Series will represent the ASA Branded Tours this weekend with a Saturday night showdown in Alabama.

ASA Southern Super Series presented by Sunoco

The ASA Southern Super Series will return to Montgomery Motor Speedway (AL) on Saturday, April 13th for the Rumble by the River 125. This will be the 17th career stop for the Southern Super Series at Montgomery. It also marks the series’ first race at Montgomery since 2022.

It will be an extra special treat for fans that make their way to Montgomery as the race weekend will include the first Super-Pro Late Model doubleheader at Montgomery with the tracks Show Me the Money series.

April is a busy month for the ASA Southern Super Series. After already hosting three events in 2024, including two that were combination events with the ASA STARS National tour, the heart of this season’s schedule will take place across a 170-mile triangle in the Deep South between Montgomery, Mobile, and Pensacola. For the first time since 2018, the series will run three events in one month

“We are ready to have a busy month in our neck of the woods,” said Southern Super Series General Manager Tim Bryant. “We look forward to our returns to Montgomery and Mobile as well as the second stop for our series at Five Flags Speedway. We are looking forward to the combination race with the Show Me the Money Series and maybe we will have some drivers run both races.”
